History
STOIDI Group is a network of successful and highly-respected business leaders and mentors.
While our core was founded in the heavy construction industry, we have since grown to encompass membership from a wide range of backgrounds and industries.
Stoidi supports Ontario-based charities making a difference in local communities. We currently focus on organizations assisting children, mental health, disabilities and food for the needy.

Supporting Send ’Em Off Smiling
On October 24, 2025, STOIDI Group donated $20,000 to Send ’Em Off Smiling, an organization that ensures children start the school year with the clothing, supplies, and confidence they need to succeed. This contribution helps support local students and families facing financial hardship.
Supporting Wyndham House
On October 22, 2025, STOIDI Group donated $20,000 to Wyndham House, supporting programs that provide housing, guidance, and essential resources for youth experiencing homelessness. This contribution helps strengthen services that foster stability, safety, and brighter futures for young people in our community.
Supporting Woolwich Community Services
On October 15, 2025, STOIDI Group donated $20,000 to Woolwich Community Services, helping strengthen programs that provide essential support to individuals and families across the region. This contribution assists in delivering food, resources, and community-based services to those who need them most.
Annual Golf Tournament – Community Impact
On September 9, 2025, STOIDI Group raised $89,600 during our Annual Golf Tournament at Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club. The day brought the community together in support of multiple local charities, highlighted by Leo Steffler’s remarkable contribution, raising $17,500 by having his hair cut off during the event.
This collective effort reflects the generosity, spirit, and commitment of everyone involved in helping strengthen our community.
Supporting Marillac Place Women’s Shelter
On October 15, 2024, STOIDI Group proudly raised $15,000 in support of Marillac Place, a women’s shelter providing safety, stability, and essential resources for women and children in need. This contribution helps ensure that vulnerable families have access to shelter, guidance, and the support required to rebuild their lives.

On October 9, 2024, STOIDI Group raised $15,000 in support of Food4Kids Waterloo Region, an organization that provides nutritious food packages to children facing food insecurity. This contribution helps ensure vulnerable kids have reliable access to healthy food when other supports aren’t available.

On May 7, 2024, STOIDI Group raised $25,000 in support of Scotland’s Yard, an initiative of the Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN Foundation) focused on strengthening pediatric care in Waterloo Region. This contribution helps ensure local children and families can access essential medical services close to home.

On May 7, 2024, STOIDI Group raised $25,000 in support of Starling Community Services (formerly Lutherwood), an organization dedicated to improving mental health, housing stability, and employment support within our community. This contribution helps strengthen essential programs that empower individuals and families across the region.
Supporting Argus Residence
On May 7, 2024, STOIDI Group raised $25,000 in support of Argus Residence, an organization providing safe shelter, guidance, and support for youth experiencing homelessness. This contribution helps strengthen vital programs that assist young people in building stability, confidence, and a path forward.

On April 12, 2024, STOIDI Group contributed to Champions for Charity, a Waterloo Region event dedicated to supporting local organizations and community programs. Our involvement helped strengthen vital initiatives that make a direct and lasting impact across the region.
Supporting Grand River Hospital Toy Drive
On December 24, 2023, STOIDI Group proudly participated in the Grand River Hospital Toy Drive, helping ensure children spending the holidays in the hospital received gifts and moments of joy. Our members came together to support families during a challenging time and to brighten the season for young patients in our community.
Supporting Food4Kids Guelph
On November 23, 2023, STOIDI Group was proud to raise $11,300 in support of Food4Kids Guelph, an organization dedicated to ensuring children in our community have access to nutritious meals. This contribution directly helps provide consistent, reliable food support to local kids who need it most.
Supporting St. Mary's Hospital
On February 8, 2023, STOIDI Group donated $6,900 to Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) ( formerly St. Mary’s General Hospital) in support of its MRI and diagnostic imaging initiatives. This contribution helps enhance vital medical services and improve access to advanced diagnostic care for the community.
